We don’t ever want a Cub Scout to not go to an activity or miss out on any program because of cost. If your child wants to go to an activity or needs to buy something needed for Cub Scouts, but it is simply too much for your budget, there is a way to make it work.
Anyone who feels that they need assistance with any purchase always has the option to have the fee reduced or waived. To do this, all you need to do is to contact the Committee Chair, Jen Kennally. She will see that the Scout gets credited the amount needed for the purchase. It will be paid out of the pack’s general funds. No one other than Jen will know, and she will not reveal who has asked for assistance to anyone.
This assistance is open to anyone, and can be used for any purchase that goes through the pack. This also includes the purchase of Scouting books and uniforms. All it takes is a phone call. It’s a situation that many of us have been in for any number of reasons. We encourage you to do this rather than have your child miss out. Please consider it.
